Under Protest…
Given a certain reader’s protestations about me not updating often enough, here is a new entry.
Bow News
On Saturday, Steph and I shot a full Portsmouth round, 60 arrows shot in (ostensibly) 3 arrow ends, we did 6 arrow ends for speed, on a 60cm Portsmouth face. I achieved a new PB with a score of 439, the weight difference between my old club bow and my new bow is quite a bit, both in the weight of the riser and the poundage of the limbs, but I’ll get used to it. My grouping seems to be improving which is nice, but I’m still guilty of a crappy loose. Meh.
I must remember to prod Cat for my new badge, my previous PB was 412, which wasn’t quite enough for the next badge, which is for scores over 425 in a Portsmouth round.
Final Year Project
I have changed my mind, I am not doing the crappy MIS for our department, because it’s going to be a matter of re-creating SAINT and it’s not worth it. So I’m going to implement an Archery Results System instead. Not sure what language to use yet. But it sounds fun.
Bonfire Night
Again the archery crew did bimble wildly in the hope of finding a bonfire. We went to Myrtle Park in Bingley again, Toria came too, it was all good fun, though the fireworks didn’t help my head which was pounding a little. Grr.
Anywho coursework to write, quotes to find.
