Home and Snow Patrol
Home!
I went home for a few days, this had a dual purpose…
- I bought Mother a storage jar for Spaghetti, from Ikea
- Tom was off to London for a few days, so the house would be empty
Given that I don’t much care for being in my house completely alone, I opted to pay a visit home, and have some free food and such, and some quality arguments with Mother, which entirely failed to happen.
Didn’t really do much at home because I wasn’t there at the weekend, else I might’ve gone down the beach with Father, who incidentally has agreed to pay for half of my bow as a 21st birthday present. But that aside it was a restful few days and I listened to Douglas Adams audiobooks for most of it!
Bow
The Hoyt Eclipse riser, the riser being the big blue metal bit in the middle, the one I’m getting will have much cheaper limbs than the ones shown, but it’ll be every bit as pretty!
Snow Patrol
On Saturday, I saw Snow Patrol at Millennium Sq. in Leeds. My brother Ben was supposed to be going with Tom, but, he was busy with work and wasn’t really up for it. So I got a free ticket, woot!
The support acts were fairly appalling, we could hear them from the pub we were sat in next to Millennium Sq., but Snow Patrol were the stars of the show after all, and rightly so, they put on a heartfelt performance, and eventually got much of the crowd bouncing by the end, they’ve not got that many bouncy songs, but plenty to clap and sing along to. So most people were doing that instead.
Tom’s friends from work came too, and are muchly insane, which is good, we ended up in a real pub afterwards, and I managed to get some Real Ale in me! Thankfully! We’d been drinking Pimm’s and Lemonade (with all the proper trimmings) in The Bourbon (the pub) before the gig, because it was too hot for beer.
Me and Tom walked back to Burley, after the rest had gone home, which sobered us up, not that we were drunk you have to understand. Then eat toast and went to bed.
This week
I think I’ll get some quality Toria time in this week, I’ve not seen her in a week or so, pooey. Got a pre-rig tomorrow night as well, for a show this Friday, if only I was getting paid for it…

Well done on getting a WordPress blog sorted! I look forward to reading your entries
